Dear Residents,
We hope this message finds you well. With the cold weather moving in, we want to ensure everyone stays safe and warm while avoiding any issues with freezing pipes. Please take the following precautions:
- Leave Cabinets Open: Keep cabinet doors open and the doors to those areas with plumbing (like under kitchen and bathroom sinks) to allow warm air to circulate around the pipes.
- Keep the Heat On: Even if you're away, set your thermostat to heat and leave on to help prevent freezing.
- Drip Faucets: Allow your faucets to drip slightly, especially those along exterior walls, to keep water flowing and reduce the risk of frozen pipes. Also make sure to wrap any outside faucets.
In case of any emergencies, such as a burst pipe or loss of heat, please contact us immediately at 205-384-4864 or 205-388-3450 (emergency maintenance line)
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us protect your home during this cold spell. If you have any questions or need assistance, don't hesitate to reach out.
Stay warm and safe!
